Indoor Golfing allows an almost real-life practice of golf, thanks to the sophisticated re-creation of the golf courses that have been numerized in every possible detail. The golfer plays in front of a giant soft screen measuring 5 by 3.5 metres on which the real golf course is projected virtually.
The golfer hits the ball as on an outside course. The ball hits the screen and falls to the floor.
The flight of the ball is visualized on the screen thanks to the analysis of the shot by sensors located on the floor.
The computer also calculates the roll of the ball on the ground depending on the slope and the obstacles met.
This sophisticated equipment allows a large set of information to be displayed, most of which could not be collected in a real-life situation. The golfer can then analyze and improve his/her game , correct his/her mistakes, even with the help of a pro, and thus improve his/her swing to get optimal results on a real course.
